Meet the Owner
Tim Hill is the owner of Tri-City Auto Labz. He is an avid car lover who uses his passion to restore, revive, and protect vehicles of all makes and models. He is married with three children and is a youth basketball coach. In his free time, he enjoys working on his 2004 Mustang Cobra, working out, and going fishing.
Tim grew up in Birmingham, Alabama, where he developed his love for cars and the Auburn Tigers (WAR EAGLE!). He spent countless hours working on hotrods with his stepfather, who taught him everything he knew about properly taking care of his prized possessions. After high school, Tim moved to California to pursue his dream of becoming a pit crew member for a NHRA racing team. However, life took him in another direction when the opportunity arose for him to become a Correctional Officer. He spent about 10 years in law enforcement, putting his true love for cars on the sideline while he tried to balance both.
In February 2021, Tim decided to take the leap away from law enforcement to start his own business, Tim’s Elite Auto Detailing. This gave him the opportunity to do what he loves every day and be more available for his wife and kids. Over the next couple of years, Tim maintained his business, while doing another brief stint in law enforcement. He learned the business side of the auto detailing industry and expanded his services to include headlight restorations, paint corrections, and scratch removal. He also became a certified ceramic coating installer.
When he and his family moved back to Washington State, he continued to develop additional skills in the auto detailing and restyling industry, to include paint touchups, window tinting, wheel repair, and vinyl wraps. He also became a certified paint protection film installer with STEK. Utilizing these additional skills, he expanded his services to be more than just auto detailing. To better align his business image with the expansive services, he rebranded to Tri-City Auto Labz and opened a brick-and-mortar location to better serve his clients.
As a car enthusiast himself, Tim treats every vehicle with the love and care that he would treat his own. He brings his attention to detail, professionalism, and high-quality work to every job.
